Hello Sir, My job in the last 2 years was to deploy on a Cloud architecture a WP Multisite which had a lot of users daily and to optimize it. It is not possible to have High Availability only with one VPS server. You need multiple servers and a special server architecture in order to have High Availbility (meaning that if one servers goes down, the application runs on the other servers). Any application has dynamic content (the scripts) and static content (images, and other static files) The best solution would be to use Varnish for caching (static) and Apache for (dynamic). Nginx can be used for Static as well. So from my experience i suggest Varnish and Apache. You can optimize a lot from the software but it has its own limitations. Thats why having a VPS with multiple cores and more RAM memory is important. So it depends as well on your VPS configuration. Such a job also requires later monitor and maintenance so you will definetly need somebody on the long-term. I am 100% available for this kind of job. I have great experience on high traffic projects. Expert in server hardening, optimization, Nginx optimization for heavy workload . Varnish and Nignx in same instance is not recommended bcoz Nginx itself having catching feature. best use CDN or separate instance for Varnish route the traffic through it. (best use CDN). I can help you setup your server, but keep in mind that a lot of factors play in how many users you can handle on your server. If you are doing good caching, you can handle more than 10k a day. If you are doing poor caching and using a huge amount of plugins, you may not even be able to handle 1k a day. It's not just a matter of server setup. Thanks

Hello, i can setup your VPS for handling high traffic sites & wordpress multisite compatibility. Directadmin is not needed, as everything can be done from shell. I would recommend to go with nginx + naxsi (web application firewall, so your sites are secure) with php fcgi + APC or memcached. Varnish would be too a good idea, it will speed up dynamically content extremely. With such a setup 10k visitors and more are no problem. But it also depends how much CPU your VPS has and if your provider is overselling hard or not. Please contact me if you have any questions. Regards.

Hello, I have tiny Apache instances serving 50K visitors a day, why deal with nginx and reverse proxying with Apache for dynamic content? Cloud flare is good, CDN is smart. But to setup for 10K visitors a day that's only 1500 to 2000 per hour during peak times. one per second is 3600 an hour. hardly a load for modern properly configured apache on a .....you definitely work with someone that can point you in the right direction.
