I have worked in a platform comprised by 120 web servers based on Apache on CentOS 6.x for the past 3 years. Oracle Enterprise Linux and CentOS are quite related to RedHat so I know the ropes. I would start to work by checking the apache configuration, the system logs and if, nothing was clearly the culprit, monitoring the system until apache failed. Some questions that could help: - Is this a default install of Apache as provided by Oracle? - Is the server a dedicated physical server or a virtual private server? - Are there peaks in the service? Has some new website been deployed before you started to detect this new behaviour? Best, Ignacio

- i propose to change/update the version of web server to a newer. - if the new version does not work well I switch to another webserver, there are others that are faster and more stable. - I recommend a good time for analysis
