Greetings!
Usually I use a quit primitive but transparent, useful and reliable way to access external read only datas from MS Access application.
I just appoint some folder, network or local, as well as clear way to get new data to put into.
It may be .xls, .csv, .mdb, whatever else given by scheduled network copying, automated performance of emails received etc. So, this forder always consists of fresh data.
Then your core .mdb file is linked to the mentioned data files, respecting internal structure of each of them, so they are available in MS Access.
That's it, one can perform the data in needed way.
So, if you are inetersted in, lets show me input data files, explan way you update them, specify performance of data you need, so we'll able to negotiate and to perform the job.
Regards,
Sergey
