Personal Panic-Button Apps for Blackberry Mobile Phones We want to deploy an application able to perform as a panic button device for individuals who may be in emergency situation, using the blackberry device. The app must be able to sends SOS distress signal with GPS coordinates to immediately reach potential rescuers who the phone owner has pre-programmed into the mobile phone without alerting any onlookers. The User when in a emergency or hazarous situation, press a favorite key in the mobile device and then the device send an SMS and/or email to preconfigured options.
