This is a basic initial description of an application I need built. A more detailed description / specification will be provided to the selected [login to view URL] is a prototype build, and not expected to be polished, optimal or bug free. Essentially, I want a Mac Application that can listen to voices, then transcribe those voices into actual text. There are many "voice to text" services and API's and I fully expect to be able to leverage one of those at little or no cost, in an interface (application) of our own design. 1. Ideally, this application would be able to distinguish between different individual voices and transcribe them separately. 2. This application would also need to filter out certain (common) words and identify other "key" words, then search a predefined datasource (we'll use google for the initially) and display results based on those key words in real time. Essentially that is it. As I mentioned, the selected developer will be asked to sign an NDA and given more specific details regarding purpose, featureset and implementation. As an engineer I'm fully aware of the scope of this application but i have my attention on other things at the moment. I'm paying a premium for quality, responsiveness and someone who can get the job done quickly and efficiently.

Dear Sir, Thank you for the invitation, you have an interesting project and I would like to provide it. There are many options for speech recognition libraries that we can use, and some are open source too, and although I didn't work with any of them I'm pretty sure some are good enough. I want to note that the application will mainly use such library for it's functionality, so recognition quality, or the ability to distinguish individual voices, as you put it, lies in the library and not the application. The application is a front end to the library and will not attempt to delve into the recognition process itself. After that, i.e. requirement (2), the app will use the textual representation and we can process this text as you see fit. I have 2 questions: 1) Do you have candidates for the text recognition libraries to use? 2) Do you have the GUI design for the app? Looking forward to work with you Best Regards
