I am looking to gather statistics about wireless dead spots similar to how cell reception dot com is doing it. But i also want to map the complaints using google maps.
I also have a database of cell towers that i need mapped.
Basically, the user can search by zipcode or put in a physical address and see a google map of all towers and known deadspots within 10 miles for example.
The website does not require any graphics but rather just the core functionality, database etc.
It must be coded in asp.net/vb.net 2.0 and use SQL Server 2000.
Anyone posting a comment to the site will have to create an account consisting of a first name, email, password, confirm password.
After clicking submit on the comment form at the bottom of the page, they will be taken to the login/create account page. After creating an account they will be redirected back to their zipcode page, viewing their posting.
It should use .net forms authentication and set a cookie so that the user doesn't need to login again.
After registering, the user will get a welcome email.
