Idea: Its a wardrobe system which uses fingerprint instead of numbers to locate clothing. customers get the fingerprint scanned when check in and a receiver is placed with each clothing. When check out, fingerprint are scanned again and the system sends signal to receiver which flashes light and a color or a number). it is something like this: [login to view URL] Transmitter: 1. encoding - system scans the users fingerprint, and sends the signal to a tablet using USB signal. tablets code the fingerprint to the receiver (unknown signal - could be wire or wireless). 2. Decoding - when a fingerprint is scanned for decoding the system check database - if there is match - it sends a signal (unknown signal) to the receiver which has been coded with the fingerprint. The receiver lights (and show a color or wardrobe number) up with it receives signal. receiver: receives a signal (not defined yet) - lights up and show a color or number.
