Hello, I have attached the C++ source code for a library (which now compiles) and two example programs. These examples do *NOT* compile on FreebSd ( I cannot verify for linux ) and the exact same code compiles on Winx systems. When I attempt to compile the simple examples using the attached library the following errors occur. <ERROR: edited for space> # gcc -I../src [login to view URL] -lpdfx /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `std::__default_alloc_template<true, 0>::allocate(unsigned)' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `operator new[](unsigned)' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `__cxa_rethrow' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `__cxa_call_unexpected' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `typeinfo for std::bad_alloc' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__si_class_type_info' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `operator delete(void*)' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `std::__throw_length_error(char const*)' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `__cxa_end_catch' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `__gxx_personality_v0' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `typeinfo for std::exception' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `__cxa_pure_virtual' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `vtable for std::bad_alloc' /usr/lib/[login to view URL]: undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__class_type_info' </ERROR> This code will NOT compile using gcc-29.5 but is OK using gcc 33 but not gcc 34! this code is pretty un-useable at the moment I need it useable so it compiles the library correctly and I need so the example programs will compile and link.
