I have an Audiovox CDM-8910VM cellphone (also known as the Flasher V7 on the Virgin Mobile network).
EDIT: I have been told that my phone runs on BREW technology, so if you are a BREW developer familiar with the Audiovox CDM-8910VM phone that runs on BREW API version 2.0.2 you might be the person I'm looking for.
**_What I need_:**
Basically, what I need is an inventory-tracking program that keeps track of the various items I sell. There are about 9 item categories, with about 11 items in each category.
**_
How I would like the program to launch_**:
(1) Ideally, I would like the program to be accessed by pressing the "dedicated camera button" on the side (meaning you would have to insert an option in the phone settings to re-program that button to launch the inventory application instead of the camera). If you do not have the ability to do that, see the second option.
(2) The program could be accessed through the My Stuff folder in the Menu, which is where downloaded content is usually stored.
**_
How I would like the program to run_**:
There are various ways to design the program. Ideally, when the program launches, a list or grid of the 9 item categories should pop up. When you click "OK" and select an item category, a list of the items in that specific category should come up. When you click on an item, it's value should increase by 1, and next to the item name/label you should see the count. As soon as it's value increases, it should auto-save the count so it is still there when you close the program or close the phone itself. There should also be an option somewhere in the program to reset the values of the number of items to 0.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
The program should run on my Audiovox CDM-8910VM cellphone that runs on the Virgin Mobile service.
**_Problems that might arise_**:
When/if you place a bid, I would like you to address this issue so I know you can make it work: How will the program be transferred onto my cellphone? I imagined it could either be transferred by USB port if you have the equipment, or sent as a "game" or picture message if you have the ability to (for example I downloaded a few games by JAMDAT through [login to view URL])
