Booking System for spots on boats reservations

This is open to a coders ideas, but I have a client who has multiple types of boats (into the 100's) and they book different trips out on these boats (sunset sails, dinner cruise, etc...) and they have no central set up of booking these. Currently they call a central location who has a pad and pen and they fill in slots. I want to build a web based PHP/MySQL website that has a robust administrator panel in which the admin can set types and names of the boats, event type for that boat (dinner cruise, one-hour sail, etc..), and number of slots alotted for that boat on that event. That is all the variables I have right off the top of my head. I want the user interface to be a booking calendar where they can click the dates, and events, and see the slots open and then click to reserve that slot. Once booked, that alotted space is filled, the booking agent/customer will fill in information on the customer such as group names, individual names, addresses, phone numbers, etc...this is to be used by the employees of the company and any outside customers who book via the web. The company would need to be able to print off certain reports for ease of use sake such, reservation reports for that day, frequent customers, etc...I have experience in working with the code and MySQL once built and will handle all design and deployment, I just need the 'guts' of the working system. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PHP/MySQL, Internet Explorer, Netscape PHP/MySQL
