Classified Ad - Java & PHP

A small newspaper is looking to implement an online classified ad generation in a specific format, calculate the price to be charged based on a per line through [login to view URL] email the information and then store the data in a PHP database. To be developed in Java and PHP. (no asp or cold fusion it is on an Apache server) Samples and details to follow. ## Deliverables Attached is the layout of what the information will provide. The following requirements are also needed: 24 character per line 7 pnt Courier or Fixed width font with 8 pnt leading Coluns 1.2" wide Prevent ALL CAPS and allow initial caps - have option for first line All caps Need way to approve, so the text would get formatted and emailed and then edited in Quark. Suggestions can be given on the billing and formatting tags to import into Quark. Billing will be done all at once not recurring unless you feel this is simple to do. All we are looking for is the information in the column, so the program will store the information by category, alphabetize by category and then place the header bar and submit a tagged file to import into Quark. Our customer is interested in having the ability to produce reports on demand based on a user selected start and end date. Additionally, being able to select a set of standard reports, i.e. last month, this month, last year, etc... Reports should sort by category and customer name. System must have the ability to have standard rates stored and updated as necessary. When an ad is generated the price must be calculated based on the number of characters and ad type. There must be a provision for a special ad category for special pricing. After ad is placed a receipt must be emailed to the customer with the correct copy and pricing. There is a also a requirement to have users be able to upload files via an Upload form. User would need to be able to enter some pertinent data and then browse to a file on their local machine and click upload. System would then generate an email alert sent to a system set address that the client with pertinent data has uploaded file name dated and timed. Finally, site must be able to be replicated in the future if the needs shall arise.
