I'm looking for an exact clone of Google Calendar: [login to view URL] It should be a script written in PHP and MySQL, and use Smarty as the template engine, and Pear's DB library for database abstraction. **** Alternatively, you may use Ruby on Rails instead of PHP/MySQL. You should note which technology you wish to use in your bid request. 100% of the features that are present in Google Calendar should be present, and you should use Ajax to minimize page refreshes, as Google Calendar does. In other words, someone who uses this new calendar script should not be able to distinguish it from Google Calendar. You can also copy the Google Calendar design exactly. You should have a web-based installer for easy installation. This will be released as open-source, free software, called 'osCalendar' or something similar to that. If Google upgrades their calendar software, you should match the upgrades during your development.
