It's very important that the developer bidding on this project is familiar with CakePHP, because the entire website is making extensive use of the framework, and although the problems are easy fixes, without a good handle on CakePHP it will take you more time.
The website in question can be seen at C o m m o n e o . c o m (spaces added for privacy reasons.) Log in with: andrei / 1234.
Here are the current issues:
1. When the member is logged in, the URL to the My Pictures page is: [login to view URL] but is should be [login to view URL]
When the user is logged out it should stay as it is right now, and display the public pictures of that user.
Basically this is a mod_rewrite thing + a little PHP. It says that when the user is logged in, the URL [login to view URL] should take you to the page where pictures are being managed, and when not logged in, it should take you to the page where the user's public pictures are shown. Both pages are already developed.
2. The website is supposed to track the amount of space consumed by the pictures uploaded by a user and prevent him from taking up more space than defined in their account type (in the database.) This doesn't currently work correctly.
3. In the admin panel, because of a mod_rewrite rule used in the front-end that overwrites the one in the back-end, the pagination for browsing through Pictures doesn't work. With a little bit of mod_rewrite knowledge you'll probably be able to fix this in 5 minutes using .htaccess.
4. In the website you can share a picture/bookmark with another user or group of users. This works correctly to an extent. The problem appears when you try to browse the user's pictures and thumbnails are shown in a 4x4 grid. There the pictures shared with you aren't showing. Same logic as in other places needs to be added and that should get it working.
Please bid a fair amount on fixing these and let me know how long it would take you. We'll probably have more work related to this website right after these are done, so it will pay off for you to get accustomed to it.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the functionality of the website, through phone, email or IM.
