CoachWeb Introduction Hi I am looking for someone to help me finish a website build. The website is at an advanced state, about 75% complete, but the original coder got a full-time offer they could not refuse and had to leave the project. The original coder is still available for consultation and is keen to help by providing briefing and guidance. The website design has been built using Mono/ .NET/Linux/ Apache /C#/ Mysql. Website objective and goals The website is a management system for sports coaches. Customers may register for courses for themselves and members of their family. The aim is for coaches to be able to see the courses they run and the participants of these courses within a calendar. What has already be accomplished: Users can register and sign in. A user can modify their account details add participants (members who they will pay for) Book a course (filter courses based on season, group or location- this needs to be improved) Checkout (find the final price for the course) An admin can: Creating groups for e.g. tots… teens etc has been finished. Creating and managing coaches. Create and modify locations (where events will be run) Investigate their customers. Setup seasons (spring, summer, autumn etc) Manage seasons (Add new courses, ‘render courses’ to session objects for use within a coaches calendar) UI/UX: Bootstrap is used and the UI is almost finished but the logo’s at the top need better positioning. Needs T’s&C’s as well. What needs to be improved in the code: Validation of fields…. there is none currently. Had a problem with inputting dates working inconsistently on my development machine and the production server. AJAX on the checkout page should use webservices but I couldn’t get them working in mono… they would only ever output xml rather than json. The calendar agenda for the coaches needs to be built ([login to view URL]). The idea is a json service would find and render the sessions for a given coach within a given date range. On the checkout page we need to do a post and validate all the information is correct before linking through to charlies bank’s business account form. Need content management so Charlie can edit the web pages easily. So need a rich text editor and add the fields to the db, also need a class property so charlie can pick the bootstrap class he wants to display for a particular field. Verification emails, emails for coaches for agenda, emails for users in case of emergency, newsletter etc. Emails to reset password etc. Need to connect to a service to send text messages for similar cases of the emails (ask Charlie again) Add a user feedback form. In the data class modify the data transfer functions to use a database name for this particular project so we could run multiple instances of the system on one server. What needs to be done server side: Ensure good enough performance to deal with the suspected number of concurrent users (ask Charlie for details) Apply an SSL certificate for login. Had a strange issue where I would need to restart apache to see updates to the database. Setting up a mailserver. A git repository is available on bitbucket which I can give access to. Skills required: C# Mysql Linux Mono Apache or Nginx or similar.
