Database transfer and creation (MS Access 2000) Create a program using Visual Basic 6 that will gather and manipulate data from a pre-existing MSAccess 2000 database then transfer data to a new MSAccess 2000 database (Using ADO). This program will be used to update existing customer databases to the new version. Program would need to check the registry for the location of the database, make sure no one is currently logged on, do the conversion and then update everyones (on the network) registry settings so that the user does not have to locate the database. This is not a simple field mapping project. Data will need to be manipulated in order to adjust to new relationships. The program will need to examine every detail in the old database and make the necessary changes to the data (without losing it) then put it in the appropriate field/table. Both databases will be provided with example data. Once bid is accepted - time frame would be 2 weeks. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code (Using Visual Basic 6 and ADO) of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Program will need to run on...
