A small application originally written for VB6 has successfully converted to Vb.Net 2.0 Winforms.
I need to convert it to C#.
The project conversion consists of 2 parts:
1. Convert the VB to C#, the gui and source code is already converted using auto conversion tools, but a lot fixing is needed, becouse there are some parts were not converted automatically, like:
on error resume next => try/catch,
[login to view URL] => [login to view URL](), etc...
2. Remove the ado 2.7 com binding and use native .net MySql connector to database access...
The programs does not use complicated data issues, only simple selectst, inserts and updates...
The app consists of 5 froms and a usercontrol, but 4of them are very small ones, logins, relogin, suspend, and dialog forms... The mainform is bigger and contains more code...
The overall code fixing should not take more than 2 days for an experienced developer...
