Design and Build Website Including Payment Facilities

We are a small boutique firm of immigration lawyers in Australia. Our existing website can be found here: [login to view URL] We would like to completely re-design our existing website with three aims in mind. 1. We want to attract a greater number of major corporate clients, so the website should look similar to websites of firms that attract major corporate clients. This is a question of design principles – so you will need to have a good sense of design. Here are the websites of two Australian law firms that handle major corporate clients: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Here is a non-legal example of a good corporate website: [login to view URL] Note, we are not interested in slavishly mimicking any of these websites - we want an original design - but you will notice certain design principles these websites have in common. ie lots of white space, navigation by top bar, an abstract image providing a band of colour etc. No doubt a proper graphic designer could identify more than I have, but those are a few examples. 2. Making the site more sales oriented. There are a number of elements to this. a. Things like putting our telephone number in large font in the top right corner of every single page. b. Placing a prominent link or form for booking a consultation below the phone number (eg see the Medibank website), leading to a landing page, in turn leading to a secure payment facility for paying the initial consultation fee. c. Creating a sales page for our book, with secure payment facilities. d. We would be making some changes to the content of the website, adding prominent headlines, adding a few images, ending each page with a link to booking a consultation etc. 3. Making it easy for us to edit the website ourselves, add pages, text and links. We are not IT people. We would need a WYSIWYG interface. We would also like for it to be easy to add 3rd party apps/plug-ins. My understanding is that CMFs such as Drupal and Joomla are most suitable for this, but I am open to your suggestions. Note this is just an outline of what is required. The winning bidder will be given a more detailed brief of what exactly needs to be created and where. In short, this project requires a person or team with design and programming skills. We would like someone who can offer suggestions for improvement. Budget is about $1000.
