Design a website with message board and other features

Dear all, I am trying to build a website that is community based. My preliminary thoughts are as follows: There will be a message board that allows community members to post messages. There will also be a wall for general coments. We will want to post links/images to articles Will want users to either upload video/audio comments, or embedd youtube videos to their messages We will want users to have the ability to create their own surveys. I have a domain names and webhost (hostgator) already purchased. I have never developed a website before. I thought I could do it on my own, but it appears too difficult for me. Assuming you do a good job, this may lead to follow-up work which I cannot currently anticipate. The work is not time critical. I have a 60 day timeframe to get the website up and running. Key criteria are: Strong written and oral communication skills (in English) Patience/willingness to revise work - This is my first website so I am sure I will have a number of follow-up questions Professionalism - I don't have a big budget, but if I am paying you I will expect you to act professionally in terms of meeting deadlines, communication and quality Good References - While a prefer someone with experience, I am not against hiring someone with little prior history if they have good references.
