Create photoshop layer in 3 graphics

**clarifications are below** I need the attached pdf reproduced in Photoshop - most importantly, I would like the subject of each photo to be brought to a layer which the green bar will go behind. There are 3 pics total (ignore the first) kid on bus - layer kid above where he comes out of window, also include the vertical orange bar that his hand wraps around (the green stripe may be lowered to that area) robot - isolate robot tin cans - isolate cans and string in your design you can rough in the text with whatever font you have handy - I will be adjusting things so this isn't critical. What I need is that layer, and the blend from the photo on the left to the gradient on the right.. all on layers so I can adjust as necessary - these steps are beyond my skills. I'll provide the source files for the pictures.
