Creation of a Wiki Extension (Mediawiki)

The project goal is to build an extension to the Mediawiki, the “open source” software used for the Wikipedia. • For information about Wikipedia, see [login to view URL] • For information about the mediawiki software, see [login to view URL] • Support for mediawiki users and developers can be found at [login to view URL] The goal of the project is to create a tool for the initial propagation and ongoing updating of Mediawiki websites with information (articles) originating from Wikipedia. This includes the development of a function (or adaptation of the existing Mediawiki function) to integrate different revisions of articles on the same topic from different Mediawiki websites. A good applicant should have: • Experience with wiki technology. • Strong skills for mediawiki development. • Good communication skills. • Good examples of past work. WILL CONSIDER BIDS OVER $300.
