In the first place is necessary to clarify several issues regarding the locking/unlocking sequences: - are these simultaneous or sequential? (how they work? one after another, or all of them in the same time?) - if when locking works all of them at the same time, will be necessary a higher force to close the padlock, or it is possible to design a mechanism which to induce a delay for two of shanks - when unlocking, the effort in the key will also be greater so is necessary to "help" a little. I think the best way is to have a discussion here in a msg board. Based on your input (drawings/sketches/indications, etc) I will make you a primal model where to find the best mechanical solutions. On this model, with your assistance, I'll make the adjustments/modifications/changes until the desired outcome is reached. When the final model is approved, I'll send you all the necessary files.
