I need someone to write a tutorial for a spectrum analyser like this one for me: [login to view URL] You can use the instruction above as an example, with the difference that I want to use a cheap RGB-LED strip where can't controll each LED, but the whole RGB-LED strip as a whole. I don't need the different spectrums of a MP3 shown as light, but the whole RGB-LED strip to light according to, for example the bass. Use the instruction above as base, change the Python code as needed and provide me a tutorial on how to build the project I described above. Bids above 100 Dollar will not be accepted. The fees is however negotiable depending on the actual work to be done.

I know the amount isn't acceptable for you, but I just want to quickly ask few things: 1) Do you already have the strip? Because the normal ones don't have SPI interface, I have several ones, I added few strips to my 3d printer and they are controlled with a little board called MaxM + cheap led strip 2) Are the songs predefined? or inputs are the same as the instructable?

I have been programming in Python on my Raspberry Pis for 1.5 years now. I have an electronics bench set up with a Raspberry Pi so I can quickly download the code and modify it to work with your LED strip and verify the hardware is doing what I expect it to before I send the code back to you. Since your project is taking some complexity out of existing code I expect this will be a reasonably quick turn around. If you have a good datasheet on the LED strip you are using that will help considerably.
