I would like to develop a method to look up and update database entry using Restful ASP.NET MVC. The database stores these fields (in addition to identity field): Int AccountNumber nvarchar(150) Address LastUpdatedDate datetime The operations we require: 1) Look up record: passing AccountNumber and Address – for example (344,emailaddress) Would return True if value is found and false if not found 2) Update / insert a record – when called with AccountNumber and Address, it would add the row to database if it does not exist, and if it does already exist, it would update the datetime field. Deployment environment: Windows 2012 server, SQL Server 2008 R2. Schema for the database will be provided I will also need a test application preferably in VC++ 6 with example call to the function. I will need your help deploying it on my test server.

Hi, I'm developer working on MVC based REST API on daily basis. And I'm confident I can finish your API in two days. It sounds simple enough. I can deploy the app no problem. But as for the test client I would rather put together something written in C# or some powershell maybe. If you need it to run on something else than windows I would go with Java. If that's OK with you. I have few question mainly about the environment this app will be running in. What kind of security do you need?
