Arduino Data Logger Lcd & Encoder

Hello, I'm embedded developer and interested in this job. What is printer do you use? (Different printers can have different protocols) What is screen do you want to use? I can suggest 16x2 LCD, or nokia 2 colour graphic LCD, or full RGB LCD. And do you have full plan what device must to do? What to show and what to print. If it is simple, I can reduce a price. Thanks, I'm open for discussion about technical and questions about design.
