Application that interacts with Access, Indesign and Illust

Application that interacts with Access Database, Adobe Illustrator CS4, and Adobe Indesign CS4. Overall objective: • Build Proof Packet • Replace Layers • Populate data merge fields • Build Press sheet Build Proofs. The program will look up values in the access database and place into indesign and export pdf into folder. Replace Layers Our Illustrator files will have specific layer names. Replace will need to allow us to choose a new illustrator file and insert this file into the position of a specific layer. Populate data merge fields Illustrator file will have specific layer with text. Program needs to get the location, color, size, and font of this text and place data merge field in indesign document with same properties. Build Press Sheets Program will need to open illustrator file hide a layer export as jpg and then open new indesign file and place jpg files on page in specific configuration.
