Build an Online Store *FOR KIDS* - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

We have developed a web-based communication and entertainment platform for children aged 8-13 and would like to expand our platform into the eCommerce space. So what differentiates us from a standard Online Store project is that a. browsing will be done by children / payments by their parents (which means a whole range of added complexity from user/permission management, to child-friendly design and labelling, notification support, etc, etc.) b. we, as a company, don't actually maintain any inventory and would rely on (a) partner(s) to provide the actual content for the store What we need is someone who can: 1. Advise us on the technical capabilities of 'standard' eCommerce solutions out there today and help us with our evaluation of whether any of them would be suitable for our purpose. (This might naturally include an evaluation and research period and potentially conversations with companies that are doing something similar today) 2. Design a solution architecture that would meet our requirements whilst highlighting any potential compromises or limitations we might have to accept 3. Lead a team of professionals (this could be either our own development team or newly hired resources) through the successful development and implementation of the final solution. Applicants who could only deliver parts of the above (e.g. just point 1, or 1 and 2) are also welcome and will be considered.
