Betterment application flow & design for usability is much good because we build application for end user if they don't easily understand then its not worth. Performance for any application should be good other wise people don't stick with application longer just because of take time in page load frustration. I can suggest you betterment way by that end user will be interact with application based on my past exp because all application have one domain & we should develop it as per current market trend. Mostly QA don't focus on Performance which is major painful for any application but I mostly focus on that after functionality Test.
