Project Purpose: The purpose of this project is to demonstrate in vb2010 bi directional database synchronisation from a local sql database to a server sql database. Project Outline: The project is to create a simple clock in system for a retail environment (i.e. a head office with sql server 2008r2 and multiple branches with a local sql 2008r2 express instance). The system will have 3 tables as per the attached document (users,branches,clockin details) the store users shouldbe able to clock in and out using their usercode and password and store code. this information should then be recorded in the clock in details table on the local database and then replicated it to a table in the head office database clock in details table. the head office database should hold the clockins from all stores but the stores local database should only their own clockin data. the syncronisation should be efficient and clean to work over adsl vpn environment. Deliverables all source code in vb2010 project format installable server binary installable client binary client server sync to be fully funtional and tested.
