Adapt a plugin

I have a plugin installed that enables people to add products that they like in my store to a "wishlist". However I display some of my products on normal pages (rather than the woocommerce product pages) and I can't add the wishlist button to these pages. What I'm after is to adapt the existing plugin so it can work anywhere in my site. It still needs to work closely with woocommerce in the respect that when a customer logins, they can view no only the items in their cart but any pages/products/blog posts they maked to be saved in their "wishlist". I don't want people to have to login twice (once to see their cart and once to see their wishlist). Alternatively - is it possible to have a different product layouts. At the moment all my products are laid out the same and if i change the settings all the pages are changed. If it were possible to have more than one product pay layout, i could use one layout like a regular page (so it wouldn't have an 'add to cart button') but i could keep the current 'add to wishlist' button. Please quote on whatever way you think would work best.
