Closet / Pantry Design Application

We want to develop an interactive application for designing closets and pantry. We'd like to enable this application on a web site where our customers can do the following things: o Select a category (use Carousel) by looking at a collection of pictures (category needs to be configurable) § See multiple samples in the selected category and be able to choose one, or § Can elect to create a custom design o Can enter measurements based on the selected room layout o Once measurements are entered, can recommend a design by default § User can further customize it with various options and accessories o Can choose to see the "real pictures" for each option / accessory o Can see the rendered overall design based on the selected options / accessories in 2D or 3D o Can see the price changes / current prices based on options selected o Can save the current design in the existing account o Can create a new account with an email account o Can see the list of materials needed and their costs o We also need to enable constant updates of the pictures, categories, prices, modules, etc., via configuration files. For illustration purposes, the following web sites can be used as references: o [login to view URL] We are open for suggestions of using various technologies but prefer Flash/Silverlight front-end support and asp.net. We don't need a database in the backend so please design using xml files.
