Hi, I have a long list of career transitions (from one job to the next). One designation to the next designation. I need to design an algorithm that will create a vector along a straight line from 0 to 1 (intern to CEO) with each input designation occupying a specific point between 0 to 1. So basically, if I input a string in the algorithm, it should output its position along the line between 0 to 1. Eg. intern = .0001 manager = .003 senior manager = .05 Deputy manager = .002 President = .2 etc. etc. The algorithm needs to be written in python.
