For an online-project we need someone to write brief country and city guides. The info needs to serve as introductory texts to a country, its capital and main cities. The audience will be business travellers and tourists who are interested in local nightlife, open-minded, adventurous and like to go off the beaten track. In the first phase the focus can be mainly on Europe. The US and some countries and big cities in Latin-America, Asia and Australia which are popular with business and leisure travellers can follow after. The content should include some main characteristics of a country and especially its capital and cities: which will mean some historical background, some very basic facts and figures, main landmarks and sightseeing, city's nightlife, do's and dont's. Per individual country and city the info should not be longer than 1 page (300-400 words in average) only. It would be great if the info would be based on your own travel experiences but most likely the info will be harvested through online desktop research. You can use basic info from online sources and let yourself inspire by renowned online publications such as some world famous travel guides. But it is absolutely crucial that the content you write is unique and has an original twist. Duplication of existing online information is an absolute no-go, not only because of Google stringent policies.
