Woodworking Basics
When we talk of woodwork, we talk of elegance and style. For every frame or cut and chisel, needs to have the right blend of perfection and elan. The concept should be borne out of the need of necessity rather than luxury. However, in the fast paced rat race that we live in, certain nuances are overlooked and hence dissatisfaction sets in. Sources say that there are certain principles and fundamentals to be incorporated to get the desired outcome when dealing with woodwork projects, be it on a scale small or large.
Planning
At inception to pre planning, it is important to have a visual sketch in the mind. The creator or the sculptor needs to understand the functionality of the product that is to be. Once this step is achieved, the next step would be to then have a blue print of the wood work in question. For example, creating a blue print or a skeletal form on paper would help a long way. This helps you understand and identify the need for such work and gives you an insight to what the outcome would look like. In case you are not too happy with the result on paper, you always have the choice of getting it modified.
No one needs to be an expert to make a skeletal formation of what should be the final product. Rather the shapes and patterns of the intended woodwork can be made through visualization and imagination, boosting creativity.
