Overview We are looking for writers to help us compose short form blog posts (“microblogs”) with lifestyle-related content focusing on interesting products and general trends in fashion & accessories, cosmetics & skincare, tech and home goods. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: -English fluency -Familiar with the latest popular trends on US-based social media platforms and knows how to create culturally relevant and engaging content -Creative in coming up with interesting ideas and effective at discovering related online content and inspirations to curate the microblogs -Enjoys product discovery and shopping; very up-to-date with the latest products/brands and able to speak informatively about them General requirements for each microblog -Blogs can incorporate multiple formats such as text, video, photo, audio, external web links and #hashtags -Text should be under 100 words per post -Blogs should be short-formed and easily digestible; readers should be able to finish a blog within 1 minute -Blogs should be in simple, easy-to-read American English -The content of the blogs should be relevant to: -Shopping-related content such as product reviews, brand overviews, best-of series (i.e. top 10 things for your home this summer) -Lifestyle-related content such as travel, food reviews, home décor and design tips, recipes etc. -Content can be aspiring, informative or entertaining -Blogs should avoid any inappropriate or controversial topics and languages, pornography or profanity Compensation -Selected freelancers will be asked to submit 5 microblogs for evaluation at a rate of $4 per microblog -Longer-term contracting possible if the content is high quality
