Forms with validation, read and write from database

Overview of functionality: (database and some asp pages attached) Page 1: [login to view URL] Two text boxes and a submit button Text box 1 for username, textbox 2 for password. On submission, check that boxes are not empty; if they are, return user to the page with an error message about empty field. If both fields are populated, verify against tblUsers – if there is a match for password + user, then proceed to [login to view URL] – and create a session variable to store the userID and also the OrgID. If not, return user to [login to view URL] with an error message. Page 2: [login to view URL] This page should display user data for the user who is logged in, to enable each user to update their own details. Page should also have a link to enable users to update details of their organisation. Five fields: 3 textboxes (First name, last name, web password) and two combos – Job role (must be populated with data from tblJobRoles) and Member Company (must be populated with data from tblOrgs). Both combos must display text but read and write the ID values from the underlying tables. On submission the form should post to itself; it must check that all fields have a value, and if so, display a message at the top that changes have been made successfully; if not, must display a message that field(s) need to be completed, and display the form for data entry (retaining previously entered values) Page 3: [login to view URL] On this page, the details for the Organisation that the currently logged in user is associated with are displayed. Five fields: Company Name: [required] Company Desc [Optional] Company Fee paid? [Optional] Company ISIC code [required] : must take values from tblISICCode Company Main Contact [required]: must display users associated with this organisation On submission the form should post to itself; it must check that all required fields have a value, and if so, display a message at the top that changes have been made successfully; if not, must display a message that field(s) need to be completed, and display the form for data entry (retaining previously entered values)
