we built a firmware for a wearable device (accelerometer) to work with an app on iPhones. Occasionally (30%50% of the cases) the sensor doesn't pair or the BLE connect drops during app operation. The wearable device uses a custom PCB and a "CYBLE_222005_00" BLE module from Cypress Semi conductors. we have used LightBlue and NRF Connect to connect to the device, the pairing and connecting issue continued. the cause to this BLE instability is unknown to us. we are look for an expert to help troubleshoot and fix this instable pairing and connection problem.
