FOREX Strategy Needs Testing and Optimization

WE ASK THAT ONLY CODERS WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE BID ON THIS PROJECT. This project is for the FOREX Market so it is important that the coder is familiar with trading the foreign exchange market and EUR/USD instrument. PROJECT OVERVIEW We have created a moving average based FOREX EUR/USD strategy in MS Excel that requires backtesting and parameter optimization. The conceptual model design is already in place, and help needed is generally centered around (1) refining and validating our strategy and (2) automating and configuring the strategy. We are looking for a coder to find the most successful parameters for the indicators in our trading strategy using Java or C/C++ but we are open to suggestions from the coder on the best way to approach the task. This would require someone who has experience coding for pattern recognition, backtesting, and strategy optimization. Prior to awarding of the project, the coder shall consult on all aspects of the project including determining best way to program and test the strategy. This will help determine the exact requirements for the project. If there are any bugs we will want them fixed and the coder to ensure that trading strategies properly transition from development environment to live environment. We will want frequent updates and will make ourselves available to answer questions from the coder at any time. BASIC STRATEGY CODING REQUIREMENT - Four EUR/USD moving average strategies (2 buy/2 sell) coded in Java or C\C++ - Order Types: Market Order, Limit Order, Stop Order - The strategy will trade during the London and New York sessions on trading days IDEAL CODER EXPERIENCE Programming Languages: Java,C\C++, C#, VBA, MetaStock Formula Language Trading Platforms: MetaTrader 4, AccuCharts Quantitative Modeling Software: Microsoft Excel 2003/2007 TIME FRAME We would like to start by January 9th and would like the project finished within 14 days, though we are willing to extend it to as many as 30 days.
