Good day I am running SQL Server 2017, Visual Studio 2017, .NET 4.61 and any other version, Entity Framework 6.2 or any other version. My proposal, based on the stated requirements, is to provide, with source code a WCF REST API with one SELECT (select single record by key or select all) per table. I intend using T4 text generation to achieve this and the source code will include any T4 files used. This will allow you to easily update the available API operations after any changes to the underlying data model and database. I have over 25 years SQL Server experience, and over 6 years experience with C# and WCF.
