538921 Brainbench - VMware VSphere 5 Validator Roles

Brainbench, an SHL company, the world's leading provider of high-quality online certification tests is looking for subject matter experts to aid development for a skills test to measure knowledge for “VMware VSphere 5.” Role: We are currently in need of FOUR subject matter experts to fulfill our VALIDATOR ROLES. THE PAYOUT IS $400.00U.S per person with a potential bonus based on performance. PLEASE NOTE: *****THE PAYMENT WILL BE MADE IN FULL AT THE END OF THE PROJECT***** The rate is non-negotiable. Time commitment for the VALIDATOR role (per person): About 10 hours TOTAL over the span of 8-10 weeks. Description: The VALIDATOR will review jobtasks that are performed frequently or regularly on the job, an outline that defines the scope of the certification test to ensure coverage of the subject matter, as well as review the questions written for the test to ensure correctness, accuracy, and suitability. This particular role will not be required to create content for the test, but simply validate and provide feedback of the test's content. All work is done using our browser-based tool. Key Responsibilities of the Validator Role for this project: * Review jobtasks and make recommendations/provide feedback for inclusion/exclusion or any other comments deemed relevant. * Review a provided test outline and make recommendations/provide feedback for the test outline and the test items. * Validate the content of each test item. (The answers for and comments on the test items are done online, through our Site.) * After our Project Lead submits the outline (table of contents) of the test, the VALIDATOR will make any suggestions to the Project Lead regarding the subject matter (maybe a topic is missing that you feel belongs) or the weighting (relative size or importance of the topics). * When our Project Lead completes the question items, the VALIDATOR will check each item for content - correct answers - ensure incorrect answers cannot be considered correct - item is relevant to the topic - determine the item is categorized correctly as a beginner, intermediate or advanced concept – any other additional comments deemed useful in improving of the Item. Qualifications and Requirements: * Person must have demonstrated knowledge and skills particular to the subject matter for VMware VSphere 5. * You must have access to MS Excel, MS Word and to a web browser in order to Validate. * The test should not be based on any existing training or certification content or approach. It should be based on the core and frequent tasks and knowledge needed on the job when working in this role. About the “VMware VSphere 5” Certification Test: This test will measure someone's ability about VMware VSphere 5. It should cover all aspects of knowledge that a person needs in order to perform tasks associated with VMware VSphere 5. It should demonstrate that they have the skills necessary to proficiently use a full range of skills (from beginner to advanced) within this subject. The focus should be on the most commonly used skills and avoid extreme, rarely used skills that are not considered mainstream to the knowledge area. Less widely used skill areas may be included, but should be limited.
