Good day, I just came across your job offer and would like to say they I am a very broad general knowledge and have won local competitions in this regard. I used to be a quiz master at pubs in my area and just loved the work. I have excellent research skills and am interested in a broad range of topics. As a journalist I have to be on top of current events. An added advantage is that I completed my International Politics Honors degree in 2010 which also adds to my research skills. Hello, I'm Stephanie, a recent college graduate with a BA in TV and Radio. I was a teacher's assistant for four semesters at Brooklyn college and had to research and write quizzes for the students. I also had an internship at ABC News Now where I researched factoids for the 2012 Presidential Debates, Election, and Inauguration and researched potential segments for producers. The summer of 2013 I worked on a children's show called "Yogapalooza" where I also researched factoids that pertained to each episode that would appear before and after commercial breaks. In addition to all of that, I grew up watching jeopardy, love watching documentaries about history and science, keep up to date with the news, own many non fiction books, and have a mental floss subscription (a fun factoid magazine that tells you different tidbits of information on a wide variety of subjects). For this project I will gather General Knowledge questions from topics such as Science, History, Geography, Economics, Current Affairs, etc. I will find these General Knowledge questions from an assortment of books on the topics I own and from the Brooklyn Public Library, various magazines, reputable news sources, and academic databases.
