I have superior proofreading and copyediting skills. At every corporate job I've held, I have always ended up being the go-to person for proofreading and copyediting. I've been an avid reader from a young age, and thus have developed a strong knowledge of spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, and other aspects of written pieces. I have a B.A. in Mass Communications. I worked for nearly 20 years in public relations, with responsibilities that included writing, editing and proofreading speeches, news releases, newsletters, magazine articles, and other written materials. I spent several years freelance proofreading and copyediting textbooks (grade school to high school levels) for Harcourt Brace Jovanovich when that company had its textbook division in Orlando, Fla.
The cost to proofread six articles will depend entirely on the length of those articles. Are they 500 words, 5,000 words, or 50,000 words?
