I want to measure expansion stress inside pipe using a strain gauge pasted on the outside of pipe. I want a complete circuit made with readily available modules for strain gauge sensing like BF350-3AA, Y3 etc. Data from sensor should be read by Arduino, which should save data in csv or txt format. I should be able to view real time data on LCD Screen. I will need following : 1.) Wiring diagram of circuit, i.e connection of modules to arduino 2.) List of materials required for circuit I found the following expansion pressure testing formula online Calculation : Expansion Pressure = YM((K*K) - 1)/(SC(2-v)) YM = Youngs modulus of steel pipe 2.060x10MPa K = Ratio betwwen ID and OD of steel pipe SC = Strain capacity in circumference direction of steel pipe v = Poisson ratio, 0.3 ID and OD can be kept as simple variable in arduino code, so code can be easy.

Hi. The project seems completely within my expertise. The only thing I'm not clear about: How do you want to access the saved data? For me the most simple way seems to use a USB connection and a telnet client on a emulated serial port. Well, may be you have other ideas. Contact me for discussing details if interested.
