Excel Formula Help

I am looking to take the example table and use the Records table to populate the Results tab with a kind of reports table based on date and getting distinct Name's automatically from the records tab The "Example Results I Want" tab shows what should be the end results you program into the Results tab This must work in Excel 2007 and Deadline is Thursday the 19th The Date column is used to get the records only for a date period I want The Name column list here is automatically generated from finding the distinct Names in the Name column The Actions and Amount row are tallied for that specific Name The Average is a simple average on the tally of Amount/Actions The total row on the bottom in grey is the totals of all Names and Average The Example results above are if for example I wanted only the results from the month of March The Date column in records is in european format, I would prefer it to be on the results page in USA format I don't know how to work with macros so I would prefer this done in formulas if possible. I was told using Sumif but could not figure it out myself
