Reduce the time resolution from 1 minute to 1 hour for some large numeroical data sets in Excel Spreadsheets

I have a university degree in economics and IT, and several decades of system design and programming, in the recent decade especially in Excel and VBA. I plan to complete the project via writing an Excel macro contained in a separate XLSM file. This approach makes further use of the macro very convenient by offering a Control sheet containing cells populated by the usual Open file and/or select folder dialogs to identify the current input and output files and hosting command buttons and other controls if necessary. Further use of macros, fixing of bugs and minor changes are included in the bid without any additional fees. Regards

Hello, Thank you for explaining the project in details and also for sharing the screen shot of the data structure. I have understood the requirement. I need to design a macro that shall iterate through the records, take all data within an hour range, calculate the average of the data that are there from column 2 and on and produce a single row of data from them. These single row outputs need to be produced in a new sheet. The time range shall also change in the output from single minutes to an hour. I do have experience with working with large data sets in excel, and I am well aware of techniques to apply that are required when dealing with large data sets. Some macros may take hours to do a work but an efficiently designed macro shall do that in minutes. If you want I can explain the techniques I'll use to make the process less time-consuming and efficient. All of my completed works here in Freelancer are about using VBA to write macros that manipulate data in various ways and manners. So far in all cases my clients have been happy with the service I provided them. I use VBA to cleanse spreadsheets, format data (based on logics) and move/manipulate them over worksheets, workbooks or office applications.
