I am developing an Excel 2016 VBA app that calls a variety of APIs to retrieve user requested data. Some of this data includes city, town, lat/lon & metrics that I need to show on a Google Heatmap within Excel i.e. in an VBA form using a WebBrowser control or something similar.
I need a working VBA example that plots up to 500 locations on a Google Heatmap in Excel. The location data will be provided by my users, so all I need is the ability to show this data on a moveable Google Heatmap. It may sound simple, but so far, I have had 4 developers say they can do it, and I'm told it can't be done. Can you do it?
No paid add-ins permitted. Happy to apply references or additional controls as required.
Work Excel 2016 VBA workbook that has 1 button. When the user clicks the button, it takes a list of up to 500 locations e.g. cities, lat/lon's and quickly displays a Google Heatmap either in an Excel worksheet or as a pop-up form. The Heatmap must have the same functionality as the link below i.e. can be moved around. No static images allowed.
