Write Excel Report using SQL Server 2012 tables

Hi, I understand you are in a hurry, so, I propose you to do a first step so: There is a way to link yours old structure to the new ones tables, in order to keep the old reports as their are, pointing to access but with a connection to the data in SQL database. At the same time, we can develop what you want, quietly, not running. well done. I really think it is better not touch the actual reports. So, we can connect them to the new dabtabase using ODBC via ADO from VBA. To do this work, I will need: Whole permissions to get the structure and some data do copy in my computer(if not very confidential). both databases . Additinally, the excel programs... Hello.. my proposal is to upsize the access db.. doing that.. all processes will be executed by access engine and you will still be able to see data in both sql and access.. in other words.. sql server will be just a data repository and access will contain links to the sql database.
