Troubleshoot Google DoubleClick For Publishers (DFP) Setup

Hi, If I understand correctly, you operate a website using Double Click for Publishers as an adserver. You'd like to show a banner however DFP only shows a blank space. Today you'd need help to debug the issue as well as a detailed explanation to avoid it in the future. I am myself ex-Google, having worked in the AdSense department for 6 years, hence I'm very familiar with Google's publishers tools such as DFP.
