Website logo, plus windows 7 style icons for software

I am launching some new windows software, and I will launch this on a new website, so am looking for a logo for the website, but this must also be represented in windows icons for the software itself, to maintain consistency for the software. If you are an expert designer, but do not have experience with windows software icon design, I have found a link which gives you all the information required for the icons, for both Windows XP and Windows 7 [login to view URL] some good examples here: [login to view URL] Ideally, if you have experience with windows 7 icon design then that's even better, because it's not quite as straightforward as reducing the size of the logo to icon size! so to clarify, I want a website logo, and then this to be made into windows XP/7 software icons for the software itself. I have thought of a basic logo concept (see attached) which may be a good starting point, but you don't necessarily have to use this to influence your design, if you think you can come up with something much better. As always, I give preference to anyone who can put together a watermarked sample for me to take a look at, as it immediately shows me if you have the right style of design I am looking for. I do not wish to work with outsourcers as the turnaround takes too long. I need a logo as soon as possible, so prefer to work DIRECTLY with a graphic artist
