The objectives of this project are: i. To design a website which be online on a server with database. ii. An appropriate UI for the website platform. We propose to adopt a strong blue colour because it is associated with nature, it gives a sense of innovation, and it makes people feel safe within a trustworthy environment (UX Planet 2017). iii. An advanced search filter with regular and improved, compared with existing systems, functionality. The latter contains a more flexible search including filter of location by continent, environment, dates, season, weather, price, age and activities. This filter function will allow customers to type sentences of holidays they are looking for and then the application will provide information on suitable flights, hotels or guided trips’ opportunities, as appropriate. iv. Natural language processing to find wanted information. v. An additional function provided as part of this project is the Natural Language Processing online help, on a one-to-one basis, which helps the user to find holidays including flights and hotels. The virtual assistant will ask the user questions, based on a pre-programmed questionnaire, collect data, provide recommendations. At the end of the consultation with the user, it will display specific opportunities for them, depending on the search criteria provided by the user. In addition, this on-line assistant can recommend the top 10 trip locations, activities and foods based on user criteria. vi. The back-end database mentioned in (i) contains holiday destinations data including cities, hotels, flights, activities, food and suggestions. vii. Safe payments with approved bank card and PayPal.
