===== OVERVIEW ===== HackWCU is running its 2nd Annual Hackathon and looking to do a brand redesign that iterates on past core branding. This is a tradition of many hackathons that create new designs to advertise their event. We are looking to keep the core brand connected but change things to show the changes in place for this year. Some trends we wanted to possibly integrate is that this is HackWCU 2 and also 2020. Attached is past marketing resources. [Expected Materials]: - Website - Event Flyer - Powerpoint Slide for TV Marketing - Event Backdrop - Logo Design - T-Shirt Design - Sticker Design [Delivery Date]: We anticpate that everything for the hackathon is ready as soon as possible. The schedule should go as follows: - Logo - October 31 - Website - October 31 - Event Flyer - November 9 - Event Backdrop - November 17 - Powerpoint - December 15 - Powerpoint - December 15 - T-Shirt - March 6 - Stickers - March 6 [Colors]: We try to keep to a purple and gold but allow for some deviation from the parent organization. purple (Pantone 269) and gold (Pantone 123). Metallic gold, Pantone 871 ===== PROJECT SPECIFICS ===== [Website]: Single page website that contains: Register/Landing, Link for Sponsors to Find More Info, FAQ, Sponsors, Contact, Schedule. [Event Flyer]: One sided A4 flyer with essential information such as Date, QR Code to Register, Event Name. [Logo Design]: Using the basis of the first year logo create something that elaborates on the design but keeps it true to the original brand. [T Shirt Design] Cool integration of the logo and the themes of the year. Place for sponsors on the back. [Sticker Design] A 2.5inx2.5in Sticker to be handed out to attendees. Ideally 3-8 designs would be made. [Event Backdrop] Background for the icon for our event for the MLH Website.
